The B&W Project

New Beginnings

The B&W Project, which as you know is my photo project baby, is about to enter it's 3rd year and I can't wait to move forward with those of you who have followed along in previous years, and the newbies I am sure we will acquire along the way. I'm so excited!

This year we are changing the format once again, and I believe we have found a happy medium. We'll be leaving the community & critiques behind and we'll be going public, like we did in the 1st year. This will be so much better in terms of exposure and interaction. We want your work to be seen and appreciated by as many viewers as possible.  We will also be using a project 26 format, in which we post every other week, on Friday. That's 26 themes in 1 year.

So basically, starting Friday, January 2nd, 2015 and continuing every other week until the end of 2015,  B&W awesomeness will be unleashed on G+ once again. BUT, I want to encourage you to share your shots on other social media sites as well. Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter for instance. You can use the project hashtag #BWProject26 & tag +Tisha Montgomery  & +Brandon Luk in your other social media posts. As long as we are following you there and you us, we'll see it. Speaking of... here are the links to my other social media sites:

I will be posting my project shots to my blog and then linking them to the above mentioned & G+. So you'll be able to get full coverage wherever you follow me from. I know right?! Fabulous! ;-)

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, the project details. If you want to learn more about the project and are interested in participating, you can visit The B&W Project on G+, which is our social media headquarters. There you'll be able to circle up the page,  me, & Brandon, so that you don't miss out on any of the awesome details.

Lastly, I will announce the 1st week's theme on December 19th, so keep an eye out for that, and I hope you'll join in on the fun! Now I leave you with a shot of mine from the 1st year of the project. It's one of my favs. Enjoy!

  4. That's awesome! I look forward to your images. :)

    1. Actually I'm more active on Facebook so I'll join you from there. I notice you don't have follow turned on there though. Were you planning on setting it up that way?

  5. I am following you everywhere :) Is the community up and did I miss a post?
