Looking Up

"Keep looking up... that's the secret of life." -Snoopy
Sometimes you reach a point in the storm when you just have to look up, because there is no where else left to look. So, keep looking up and moving forward. The past is done, the future is what you make of it, and life still has to be lived... And yeah, there's your dose of positive & encouraging for the week. You're welcome. Blah blah blah! ;-)
Another shot taken on our recent trip to Pittsburgh. I really think I'd like more time to explore that city in the future. There was so much there to capture, and I had so little time to do it. I'd love to go back with an FX wide angle, to really do some of those architectural shots justice. Yrp, that sounds like a plan indeed!

Hypnotizing Curves

“We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”
― Winston Churchill

While in Pittsburgh recently, I spotted this building as Brandon and I were driving around, searching for our hotel. I knew immediately that I wanted to walk back to it and capture its beauty. There is just something about a beautiful structure that draws me in. So when we got checked in and got our gear ready, we headed out in search of it and anything else interesting we might find there. And we found plenty! I have to admit, Pittsburgh's downtown is really cool as far as architecture and bridges go, and perhaps someday we'll go back and explore it even further. Until then, a few photos and some memories are all we have. Oh and of course our Starbucks You Are Here Pittsburgh mugs.
