Echoing Fate

“Do you think the universe fights for souls to be together? Some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences.”  Emery Allen

This past month I went to Canada, and spent a portion of my holidays meeting my boyfriend's family. It was a great trip and I really enjoyed meeting each of them. There are still a few people left to meet, and I look forward to that equally. We had an abundance of food, wine, and laughter, and I can't think of a better way to enjoy the company of such wonderful people. And of course, there were photo ops such as this one. Honestly though, I was much too busy and too cold to get out and shoot much, but I tried to make the best of the opportunities that came my way.

One such opportunity was when Brandon and I had stopped at this lovely covered bridge in Wakefield, Quebec, on our way to Ottawa; because who can resist a covered bridge, eh? In this photo he was busy capturing his vision, and I couldn't help but capture him. I love that we both share a passion for capturing the world as we see it through photography. Love it! And yeah, I love taking photos of him in his element. Win!
