Like Father, Like Son

Hello Hello hello... is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home? - Pink Floyd

Ha! It feels kind of like that walking through the back door of this much-neglected blog of mine. I need to clear the cobwebs and make some changes, so bear with me, alright?  The first change has already been made, so let me tell you a bit about that. In 2014 I was forced to give up my website, well it was a self-imposed thing, but anyway. I parked my domain name here instead because it was free and all. Now, I have a new portfolio up and running, and my custom domain is pointing there, with a link back here for my blog.

And hopefully, I'll get motivated to start populating this blog at least on a biweekly basis. We'll see how that goes...

For now though, big changes have taken place for me. The best and biggest being Brandon and I getting married, but the next best is that I am now officially a permanent resident of Canada. Awesome, eh?! Which means I can now work in Canada, and I'm so excited about that. I plan on concentrating on my photography, and I actually had my first Canadian photo shoot on Sunday. It was a family portrait session for some friends of ours, and it was hilarious. Their son is quite the character and he had me laughing the whole time. Good for the soul, but not necessarily good for my focusing. Oh well, out of 960 images, I'm sure I'll be able to find a few that they'll love and that aren't blurry from laughter. Ha!

This shot is the boys being goofy while the mom was seriously saying, "see what I have to live with?!" Such a fun time!
